Additional Bridges

In addition to the matrix bridges already available from us, there are many more for a wide range of applications. An overview can be found at matrix.org, for example.

We are endeavoring to expand our portfolio of available bridges, but aim to offer a certain degree of stability. Since bridges are often developed by individuals or small groups, evaluation with regard to stability, security and continuous maintenance of the project is essential. The inclusion of new bridges therefore takes place in a somewhat longer process, as we first have to consider the feasibility, but also any security implications.

An important aspect is the active further development and community support for a bridge. An actively engaged community and an open development process help to ensure that bugs and security vulnerabilities can be found and fixed quickly.
