Additional bridges

In addition to the Matrix bridges we already offer, there are many more for a wide range of applications. An overview can be found at matrix.org, for example.

We aim to expand our portfolio of available bridges while offering a certain degree of stability. Since bridges are often developed by individuals or small groups, evaluation with regard to stability, security and continuous maintenance of the project is essential. Adding new bridges is therefore a somewhat longer process, as we first have to assess feasibility and any security implications.

An important aspect is the active development of a bridge and the support of its community. An actively engaged community and an open development process help to ensure that bugs and security vulnerabilities can be found and fixed quickly.
